Agroforestry Technician (Temporary Position through Dec 15th 2026)

About the role

The Agroforestry Technician will assist in the management of agroforestry projects within Hawaiʻi County. This position is temporary and will end on December 15th, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planting and maintenance of agroforestry trees and crops
• Monitor soil health and implement necessary conservation practices
• Document project progress and maintain records
• Participate in community outreach and education programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in agriculture or forestry preferred
• Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
