Temporary position based in Raleigh, NC, with a work schedule of up to 30 hours per week.
About the role
Capture, edit, prepare, and upload agricultural educational content from small grains and Official Variety Trial programs to multi-media platforms. These platforms include NC State University web portals and social media accounts such as Facebook, X, and Instagram.
Responsibilities
- Create short-form content including images with written captions and short video clips with closed captioning.
- Produce long-form content such as 2 to 5-minute videos describing agricultural concepts with closed captioning.
- Develop written and visual program marketing materials.
- Attend grower meetings and larger industry events to deliver materials to stakeholders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license (NC Driver's License required).
Qualifications
- BS degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Communications, or Marketing, or experience in professional content creation or marketing.
