Pay

$15 per hour.

Schedule

Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily tasks related to the upkeep of the culinary garden
• Water plants as necessary
• Maintain a chemical‑free garden
• Harvest product daily
• General garden maintenance including hand weeding, staking and trellising, mowing, weed eating, bed preparation, laying compost, transplanting, etc.
• Compost management, including the daily collection of kitchen waste
• Daily harvest to fill kitchen orders, including trimming, cleaning, and delivery of garden produce
• Organization and maintenance of garden‑related tools and equipment
• Interact with guests and team members when necessary
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance
• Work well with other team members, managers, and guests
• Other duties as deemed necessary

Requirements

• General knowledge of or interest in organic farming methods
• Experience operating equipment, specifically a tractor (preferred)
• Ability to engage with visiting guests and children
• Strong communication skills; able to interact professionally with all levels of team members and guests
• Basic mathematical understanding
• Sound judgment and decision‑making based on job knowledge and company goals

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 lb
• Must be on feet for the majority of the day
• Ability to operate a golf cart or company vehicle safely
• Physically challenging position

Work Environment

Farmstead, garden, and livestock areas. Must be able to work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, rain, and all weather conditions.
