Agricultural Parts Salesperson

Atlantic Tractor Agriculture Parts Salesperson Location: Whiteford, Maryland Purpose This position is responsible for the selling of Agricultural (AG) parts to in person and phone in customers and providing necessary parts to the service and sales departments and placing special orders for customers. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to the service department, customers at the counter or on the phoneMeet or exceed monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotionsResponsibility for Inventory IntegrityEducate and engage customers through product demonstrations and promotionsEffective use of computer applications including: Sales Manual, JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, Parts Advisor®, barcode system and Dealer Business SystemCommunicate, enforce, and monitor effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfactionMaintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer serviceRoutinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbsExecute parts department standard processesSupplies Ag Service Technicians with parts as required.Work with multiple different vendors and strive to always find a solution for the customer even if it doesn’t readily present itself.Verifies receipting-in or shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.Assist in maintaining an orderly parts departmentShall be able to multitask while consistently maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Be able to work as a team or independently.Maintain a professional demeanor to ensure that the highest level of customer experience is attained.Have a valid drivers licenseParticipation in monthly branch and company on call schedules as needed.Additional duties as assigned. Experience, Education, Skills And Knowledge 2+ years of Agriculture Parts experience preferredExperience connecting with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapport Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling processesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applicationsExperience working both independently and in a team setting Experience with electronic parts catalogs preferredDemonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)High School diploma or equivalent The starting hourly rate will be $20-$24 #INDHP
