AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER (FENDT)

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Agricultural Engineer to join our dynamic team specializing in Fendt tractors and machinery. The role involves assisting in the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery, both on-site and on-farm, under the guidance of workshop management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of tractor, telehandlers, and agricultural machinery.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure high standards of work.
• Use specialist diagnostic equipment and techniques, following manufacturer's guidelines.
• Prepare new and used vehicles and machinery for sale according to manufacturers' specifications.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest "Service News/Bulletins" from AGCOnet.
• Complete job cards, time sheets, and work reports as required by workshop management.
• Help and develop junior members of the workshop team.
• Perform general housekeeping duties within the workshop environment, including returning special tools and warranty parts to designated storage areas.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Demonstrate new or used machinery to customers as needed.
• Report any problems with repairs, potential safety issues, or training requirements to workshop management.

Requirements

• Desirable: Previous agricultural engineering experience.
• Experience: Working in large engine industries such as heavy plant, access equipment, military vehicles, lorry & construction equipment.
