Job Description

Operating Farm Equipment:

• Mowing groves with tractor and 10' Bushhog
• Spraying groves with tractor and speed sprayer
• Spraying groves with truck mounted or pull behind sprayer
• Herbiciding groves with tractor and herbicide mounted rig
• Fertilizing groves with tractor and pull behind fertilize spreader and 3 point shot spreader
• Disk groves and new land with tractor and hydraulic disk

Scouting groves for Citrus Pest, Disease, and Nutritional Problems:

• Paying close attention for Canker symptom
• Any psyllid activity
• Greening infection

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Florida Drivers’ License or have the ability to obtain one
• Must take Tractor safety course and Pesticide safety course within 10 days of hire

Preferred

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to operate all farm equipment listed in the job description
