Agribusiness Credit Analyst

Overview

Horizon Farm Credit is actively recruiting for an experienced Agribusiness Credit Analyst to join their team. The position may be based in one of several branch locations: Frederick, Dover, Georgetown, Mechanicsburg, Mount Joy, or Reedsville. For location details, click here. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the possibility of a hybrid work schedule.

Areas of Responsibility

• Analyze financial information - complete historical trends, pro-forma projections, debt repayment schedules, consolidations, sensitivity analysis, Probability of Default and Loss Given Default templates, source and use, commodity worksheets, and any other necessary schedules, worksheets, and/or template tools.
• Prepare a loan narrative that summarizes the financial analysis, addressing the applicable five C's of credit, and highlighting credit strengths and weaknesses to support the credit recommendation.
• Stay updated with internal and external credit practices and continuously refine credit analysis skills.
• Develop relationships with large or complex customers to better understand their needs and provide tailored credit solutions.
• Underwrite relationships (including complex and distressed credits) of up to $10 million with guidance from supervisors.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to less experienced staff members.
