About the role
Columbus' Original Street Pizza is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for its downtown Dayton location. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, energy, and a passion for food to the role.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff and ensure excellent customer service
- Oversee inventory and ordering processes
- Delegate duties effectively and respectfully
- Oversee product rotation and organization
- Communicate with the General Manager to address coaching needs and provide feedback to staff
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager
- Supervise team members through coaching, motivation, direction, review, and feedback
- Hold team members accountable for meeting company standards and codes of conduct
- Maintain a high level of culture and hospitality throughout the location
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age or older
- A passion for food
- Ability to work late nights
- Reliable transportation
- Experience in a restaurant leadership role for at least 1 year
- Speaks loudly and clearly in a bustling restaurant atmosphere
- Problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and organization skills
- Engages in friendly conversation with guests in line
- Develops knowledge of all ingredients and menu items
- Effectively handles guest complaints or issues
- Maintains a positive presence at all times while on the front line
