Agile Trainer

About the role

Navigates teams and leaders on agile implementation to include structure, roles, principles and practices to improve flow, predictability, and outcomes. Responsible for planning, organizing, communicating and delivering training programs and workshops for Agile Enablement and Digital Transformation Engagements.

Responsibilities

• Works with leaders to map training plans for individuals and teams working through Agile adoption and/or Digital Transformation
• Contributes to the design and development of training programs, both internal and outsourced; reviews, evaluates, modifies and/or creates training materials and educational aids
• Gathers feedback, assesses instructional effectiveness and analyzes performance results to determine impact of training on skills and KPIs; adjusts training materials and presentations accordingly to drive continuous improvement for training programs
• Conducts training needs assessments to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses relative to specific groups; provides input for identifying and defining present and future training needs
• Coordinates training session logistics including space planning, attendees, supplies and instructors (internal or outsourced)
• Maintains updated curriculum database and training records as well as in-house training facilities and equipment
• Partners with internal stakeholders and liaises with experts regarding instructional design; uses known education principles and stays up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
• Researches and recommends new training methods, like gamification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
• 4+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or a related field required
• Certification in SAFe SPC, CSM, PMP, PMI-ACP, agile methodologies, or equivalent preferred
