About the role
The Boeing Company is seeking a highly motivated Agile Scrum Master (Associate, Experienced, or Senior) to join a large Air Dominance Division Mission Systems Software team in Berkeley, MO. This role supports an agile organization implementing new software capabilities within the platform as defined by a capability roadmap. The organization is responsible for the full lifecycle of software development, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing for mission systems.
Responsibilities
- Groom multiple software product backlogs
- Execute daily stand-up and retrospective meetings
- Lead an Agile community of practice that includes Product Owners and process stakeholders
- Assist with sprint planning
- Monitor metrics and improve team outcomes
- Train teams on agile processes and tools
- Facilitate communication across teams
- Audit team performance and identify project risks
- Advise leadership on organizational progress
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required as a condition of employment; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start may be required)
- Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
- Scrum master certification
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience with software development tools in the following areas:
- Requirements management (e.g., Jama)
- Backlog management and collaboration (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, Crowd)
- CI/CD (e.g., Artifactory/Xray, GitLab, Jenkins)
- Testing (e.g., Micro Focus ALM, LRE, JMeter)
- Code quality/security (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity)
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher (preferred)
- Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Agile coach certification (preferred)
- Experience with metrics collection and associated tools (e.g., Excel, eazyBI) (preferred)
- Experience with hosting meetings and associated tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint) (preferred)
Pay
- Associate (Level 2): $71,400 - $96,600
- Experienced (Level 3): $85,000 - $115,000
- Senior (Level 4): $102,000 - $138,000
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
