Agile Lead (Scrum Master)
About the role
A highly technical engineering line with a mix of onshore/offshore associates and contractors is seeking a Scrum Master (Agile Lead) with build and run responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in Scrum and Kanban practices, proficient in standard Agile ceremonies, and experienced in Sprint Planning and leading estimation sessions.
Responsibilities
- Capacity Planning for the line
- Interactions with product owner for backlog grooming and prioritizations
- Driving to meet commitments and delivery of highest value
- Partnering with existing Agile Leads, Software Engineering Product Managers, and Software Engineering Leaders
- Facilitating a robust, self-organized line responsible for building and/or enhancing software with high quality
- Collaborating to deliver objectives through structured planning
- Using appropriate software delivery practices (e.g., scrum, iterative, Lean) to continuously improve software delivery efficiency and quality
- Guiding delivery from story card creation to implementation
- Participating in user communities to learn and implement optimal practices
Requirements
Candidate must be onsite in downtown Columbus two days a week. This is a 6 month contract to hire opening.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $55.00/hr.
