This position is eligible for a $5k bonus (includes 20% SEP IRA contribution). Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance (e.g., Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph) is required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply, and maintain software systems.
- Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems.
- Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains.
- Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training.
- Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders.
- Perform systematic root cause analysis; break down problems into reproducible steps and communicate findings clearly.
- Work effectively with the team (internal and cross-domain); review merge requests and provide constructive feedback.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for integration components—from design through production support.
- Hands-on software development focused on integration or API-centric products.
- Build and maintain services in AWS (including production monitoring), e.g., Lambda, OSS, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB.
- Support an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
- An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex, cross-language codebases (Java ↔ Python) under pressure (e.g., on-call rotations).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with regular sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming.

Pay
Hourly pay range: $83.61 - $113.22 per hour. Rates serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation varies based on factors including government contract rates, education, relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and geographic location. Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
