About the role

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a test framework to execute manual and automated tests
  • Author tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright
  • Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing
  • Agile development and delivery of software
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems
  • Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems
  • Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains
  • Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training
  • Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders

Required qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
  • Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience; OR high school diploma/GED plus 13 years of relevant experience (in-depth experience clearly related to the position may be considered)
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university (may be waived for technical experience in domain skillsets outlined in the requisition)
  • Certifications count as one year of experience

Desired skills

At least one of the following:

  • Playwright
  • Cucumber
  • JMeter
  • Swagger (or similar API tool)
  • Selenium

Tools: Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)

Software: Java, Javascript, Python, Ansible

Other: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Gitlab, Jira

  • Develop software solutions
  • Design, develop, modify codes to support system requirements
  • Assist in developing innovative approaches

Capabilities may be waived through in-depth experience clearly outlined in the position requisition.

Pay

$78,000 to $250,000 per year (determined based on work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise).
