About the role
The Agile Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding product teams, leaders, and stakeholders through Agile adoption and transformation initiatives across MTA-IT. This role advances large-scale Agile Transformation efforts by promoting Agile principles, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. The Agile Coach partners with teams to enhance delivery practices, align outcomes with business objectives, and improve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coach teams on Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops
- Implement best practices and tools
- Leverage metrics to inform decision-making and improve performance
- Operate in a consultative capacity to influence teams and enable cultural change
- Support enterprise-wide Agile maturity in alignment with the broader MTA-IT strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or a master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience
- At least 8 years of Agile coaching experience
- Proven experience coaching for Agile product transformations in large, complex environments
- Demonstrated hands-on experience leading enterprise-wide Agile transformation initiatives
- Strong background in change management, organizational design, and driving cultural transformation at scale
Qualifications
- Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent credentials
