Agile Business System Analyst

About the role

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a remote Business System Analyst to support a large enterprise's cloud and modernization initiatives. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with new technologies and leadership, supporting an agile delivery team through the development and implementation of cloud-native solutions and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery meetings with stakeholders to define business and functional requirements, ensuring all needs are thoroughly documented, validated, and meet compliance standards.
• Communicate business needs with technical SMEs and support the development of technical specifications and workflows to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog as well as create user stories and define acceptance criteria to be used in UAT.
• Track project progress and create UAT documentation in JIRA and Confluence, escalating efforts as needed.
• Work closely with data governance and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet security and audit requirements.
• Provide regular updates and technical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior BSAs and administrative support on best practices.

Requirements

• Agile BSA or Product Owner experience.
• Working experience with cloud-based solutions.
• UAT experience.
