AGGREGATE DIVISION-SUPERINTENDENT
About the role
Knife River Casper is seeking an Aggregate Superintendent to oversee aggregate mining, production, sales, trucking and reclamation operations. The position requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in aggregate sales, washing, crushing, screening, aggregate transfer and/or gravel mine operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee aggregate mining, production, sales, trucking and reclamation operations
- Work safely and follow all company policies
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel
- This is a full-time position with some travel to out of town sites
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in aggregate sales, washing, crushing, screening, aggregate transfer and/or gravel mine operations
- A current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Computer literacy using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (Apex or other Command Alkon POS systems is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills
- Supervisory experience
- Very reliable, able to work well under pressure, and have the ability to organize and prioritize work
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- A strong commitment to safety and the ability to create a strong safety culture throughout the site
