AGGREGATE DIVISION-GROUNDMAN/LABORER

About the role

We are seeking a Groundman/Laborer to join our crusher operations team at Knife River. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various pieces of equipment used in our crushing operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various types of construction equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
• Work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge or experience in equipment maintenance and operation
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar position preferred

Skills

• Proficiency with various types of construction equipment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
