About The Role

Close has 11,000+ paying customers, our product wins head-to-head against some of the biggest players in the CRM market… and almost no one knows we exist. Our first ever Agentic Growth Marketing Lead will be the one to change that. In this role, top of funnel and conversion are yours. You’ll be both the strategist and the executor. You’ll make the bets and you’ll implement them, with agents doing real work for you and automations running in the background. The scope and ownership are possible now because of what real operators can do with AI. You’ll report to our SVP of Marketing and join our small, skilled Marketing team of seven. You are All-in on the demand problem. You think about how customers find products, how they decide to buy, and with the same frameworks a great PM brings to a feature. Demand and conversion are your products. You instrument, ship, watch the data… and then ship again. AI-powered. You have AI tools running parts of your workflow autonomously. You can talk through which models or tools are the right (or wrong!) choice for any genre of problem. You can show off the workflow you shipped or the thing that’s breaking right now. The way you operate today wouldn’t have been possible two years ago and you definitely won’t operate the same way two months from now either.

Requirements

  • All-in on the demand problem
  • Think about how customers find products, how they decide to buy, and with the same frameworks a great PM brings to a feature
  • Instrument, ship, watch the data… and then ship again
  • Have AI tools running parts of your workflow autonomously
  • Talk through which models or tools are the right (or wrong!) choice for any genre of problem
  • Show off the workflow you shipped or the thing that’s breaking right now
  • Operate the way a good PM runs a product surface - hypotheses, instrumentation, weekly shipping, postmortems on what did not work
  • Pick the channels worth betting on, build them, and iterate

Qualifications

  • Backed by 5-8+ years in B2B SaaS growth, marketing, or as a founder
  • Started something - a company, a side project, a thing you ran for a few years. Succeeded? Failed miserably? We’re indifferent. What we care about is that you were accountable to the results and that you bring that same ownership lens to everything you’ve worked on since
