Agentic AI Engineer
OperAxis LLC is seeking an AI / Agentic AI Engineer for a W2 contract-to-hire role with JPMorgan Chase & Co. This onsite position is available in Columbus, OH or Plano, TX. Eastern Time Zone work hours are required from day one. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or TN visa holder—no sponsorship is available. Relocation may be considered where applicable.
About the role
The ideal candidate will design and build agentic AI systems and intelligent automation solutions for enterprise financial use cases. This role involves developing AI agents, integrating large language models, creating orchestration workflows, implementing responsible AI practices, and delivering production-ready AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement agentic AI systems for financial workflows.
- Integrate large language models into enterprise applications.
- Build orchestration layers and multi-agent workflows.
- Develop prompt strategies and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Implement responsible AI, security, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and business teams.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain production AI solutions.
- Optimize model performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Document AI architecture, integrations, and design patterns.
- Support Agile delivery of AI capabilities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
