Responsibilities
- Learn and apply fundamental surveillance skills.
- Monitor all areas of the casino using CCTV digital equipment.
- Observe, record, and report potential security and safety risks to guests and employees.
- Observe employees participating in cash handling activities to detect infractions of house rules, casino policies and regulations.
- Observe employees and guests involved in gaming activities to detect infractions of house rules, detect cheating and fraudulent uses of casino property.
- Document and report all procedural, criminal, and regulatory infractions.
- Use CCTV and digital surveillance tools to record, label, and store video evidence.
- Understand NIGC minimum internal control standards relevant to casino operations and report any infractions to the Gaming Commission.
- Affirm departmental policies and procedures affecting the overall casino operation.
- Complete daily activity reports accurately.
- Coordinate with relevant departments when surveillance detects issues requiring further investigation or attention.
- Attend scheduled department meetings and training sessions.
- Gain a basic understanding of table games, slots, count, and cashier procedures, focusing on detecting procedural errors and cheating methods.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in all daily logs, incident reports, and saved video records.
Requirements
- High School level education.
- Prior gaming experience in any of the following areas is preferred: surveillance, table games, slots, and cage.
Qualifications

- Attention to detail and ability to document observations accurately.

Benefits
- Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 1000pm and 600am.
- This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
Pay
Pay range $21.00 - $27.30 per hour.
