Agent Services Specialist (No Experience Required-Full Training Provided)

About the role

The Senior Consultant at Financial Grade provides licensed independent Medicare insurance agents with tools and guidance to succeed in the Medicare market. The role is crucial in ensuring agents and representatives are properly contracted, licensed, and supported.

Responsibilities

• Managing contracting for all internal and external agents
• Following up on lead inquiries
• Ensuring all in-house representatives maintain active and up-to-date licenses
• Onboarding new agents
• Acquiring and maintaining state licenses and carrier appointments
• Assisting with agent certifications and compliance requirements
• Acting as the first point of contact for agent questions, concerns, and needs
• Fulfilling agent orders and coordinating kit shipments
• Communicating carrier updates, training opportunities, and scheduling webinars
• Serving as a liaison between agents, carriers, and company leadership
• Maintaining accurate records, activity logs, and training manuals
• Providing exceptional customer service to agents and clients
• Supporting agent events, conferences, and relationship-building initiatives

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business or related field, OR 3+ years of experience in a related role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Nipr, AgentSync, AgencyBloc, and carrier portals
• Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus

Working Conditions

• Stationary role, operating a computer and office equipment
• Light lifting (up to 25 lbs.)
• Office environment with occasional movement within the workspace
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
