Agent - Medicare
About the role
You will be a part of a lean Medicare Sales Team in an onsite call center environment. You will create effective sales presentations using a script to provide available products that we offer in Medicare over the phone. You will be in contact with customers interested in discussing their Medicare insurance options and guiding them to make the right decision based on their needs and budget. You will upsell supplements in addition to a Medicare plan, including stand-alone dental.
Responsibilities
- Create effective sales presentations using a script to provide available Medicare products.
- Guide customers in making decisions about their Medicare insurance options.
- Upsell supplements in addition to a Medicare plan, including stand-alone dental.
- Be the subject matter expert in our policies and simplify the process for customers to understand.
- Be the main point of contact to close deals, collecting confidential personal information to make the final enrollment and sale.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in the Medicare Insurance sales industry doing full releases and selling supplements.
- A valid 215 license or 240 license in the state of Florida or more.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented person with strong active listening skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking capabilities.
- Thrives in sales and closing deals.
- Can think on their feet and take direction very well.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid 215 license or 240 license in the state of Florida or more.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Medicare insurance products and plans.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Pay
Average weekly earnings of $1,300 outside of Open Enrollment. Base salary of $500/week, plus commission and spiffs.
Schedule
This is an In-Office Position (Our HQ is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.) Hours of operation: 9AM-6:30PM EST Monday-Thursday 9AM-4PM EST Friday 11AM-5PM EST on select Saturdays.
