Agent in Charge - Norristown

About the Role

Full-time Agent in-Charge position with open availability required for any shifts (open/close), including weekends and holidays. Pay is $18/hour plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, individualized customer service and educational consulting.
• Spend 30% of time on inventory-related activities, maintaining accurate records.
• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Assist in regular inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies to retail leadership.
• Obtain cannabis product from the vault and provide it to Cannabis Advisors for sale.
• Educate customers on cannabis as a wellness product and help them navigate product options.
• Verify all received product is properly tagged and accompanied by required paperwork per state and local regulations.
• Support Inventory Manager with reconciliation of physical inventory in State tracking and POS systems.
• Confirm online orders are accurate prior to customer pick-up.
• Assist Cannabis Advisors with product or POS system questions.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Accurately handle cash transactions, including bank drops and daily payouts.
• Provide information on types, methods, and efficacy of cannabis products (no medical advice).
• Participate in ongoing cannabis education and training.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and store front.
• Ensure compliance with detailed local and state regulations.
• Complete transactions at the POS and ensure state-monitored inventory system updates accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to use office equipment and software (e.g., Word, Excel, email).
• Understand and apply Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Frequently required to remain stationary, move, and position oneself.
• Occasionally move packages weighing up to 35 lb.
• Able to stand up to 90% of the time.
• Hearing abilities within the normal audio range, with or without correction.
• Vision abilities include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment

Work is performed in a retail environment with moderate noise levels.

Pay

$18/hour plus tips.
