UGA Extension uses a county-based delivery model where agents—public service faculty members—serve as the primary resource for local communities. Agents receive support from subject matter specialists who provide training and program assistance statewide. These specialists disseminate research-based information to agents, while agents keep specialists informed about local needs and client feedback.
