Agent Engineer

About the role

The role of Agent Engineer at Moment involves architecting and shipping AI products that solve real problems for large financial institutions. You will work across the full agent stack including evaluation and observability, multi-agent orchestration, durable graph-based workflow execution, and context engineering. This is a highly autonomous and collaborative role where you will work closely with leadership, engineering, and customers to deliver ambitious and distinctive software.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship AI products that address real-world challenges faced by large financial institutions.
• Work across the full agent stack, including evaluation and observability, multi-agent orchestration, durable graph-based workflow execution, and context engineering.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and customers to ensure the successful delivery of high-stakes, ambitious software solutions.
• Navigate different levels of abstraction, from prompt-level craft to system-level architecture, and clearly articulate and lead work that spans research, engineering, and product.
• Be part of a team building a generational company, with products that define what AI looks like in the investment management industry.

Requirements

• Experience with AI development techniques and frameworks, including evaluation and observability, multi-agent orchestration, durable graph-based workflow execution, and context engineering.
• Familiarity with Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience as an ex-founder or an early engineer at a startup.
