Agent Assistant I/II – Parent Educator
Responsibilities
- Implement the curriculum provided by the National Parents as Teachers Center and the local districts enhancements.
- Serve up to 15 families with a minimum of 2 home visits per month per family.
- A minimum of six parent group meetings per year.
- Complete all required documentation regarding home visits, attendance records, for PAT events, screening summaries, and reports requested by the coordinator.
- Actively recruit families to participate in the program.
- Attend all required trainings for certification, in-service, and screenings.
- Attend monthly staff meetings with supervisor, lead parent educator, and other parent educators.
- Provide community support services to families as needed.
Qualifications
- Level I: High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience in the organization and/or presentation of pre-designed educational programs/services, customer service, administrative support/clerical or related experience.
- Level II: High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of experience in the organization and/or presentation of pre-designed educational programs/services, customer service, administrative support/clerical or related experience.
