About the Role

The NPI Assembler performs electronic assembly of components, subassemblies, and chassis to support new product introduction and production goals. This role ensures products are built to quality and performance standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities may shift daily.

Responsibilities

  • Use Operational Method Sheets, drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment, and verbal/written instructions to assemble, modify, rework, or re-assemble units.
  • Work on semi-routine assignments while communicating openly and professionally.
  • Follow all safety requirements, ISO practices, and procedures.
  • Maintain fixturing, perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
  • Assist with training other employees in established processes.

Work Environment

  • Location: Vancouver, WA
  • Manufacturing environment that may be noisy and fast-paced.
  • Tasks involve repetitive motion and the use of electronic assembly equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skills.
  • Component identification and ability to read technical assembly documentation.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Ability to recognize nonconformities and basic PC knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive, professional work ethic.
  • Consideration of quality impact in decision-making.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly and ESD practices.
  • Proven flexibility and adaptability in a team environment.
  • Desired: Soldering skills and knowledge of SAP.

Pay

The range of starting pay for this role is $22 to $26 per hour, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and location.
