Agency Manager
Job Description
Increase agency’s growth, effectiveness and production by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling insurance agents; Direct and coordinates agency’s sales efforts to maximize growth in new premium, overall sales production and agency effectiveness
Develop a welcoming climate by offering value added information and opinions, training and developmental opportunities to assigned agents
Communicate values, strategies, and objectives to agents and staff…monitors and appraises job results
Accomplish agency objectives by implementing business plans, budgets, and result measurements including recruiting objectives and new agent fast start goals
Generate new business by identifying and addressing opportunities in the local market
Build company image by collaborating with customers, community organizations, and others; enforcing ethical business practices
Review agency’s results and performance data with Market Leader to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing improvement and cost reduction
Qualifications
- Minimum Job Requirements: Five plus years’ experience in the insurance industry, preferably in marketing, sales and suitability capacity Medicare, life and annuity product experience
- Knowledge Skills, And Abilities: Ability to work well within a team Excellent time-management skills, ability to work within deadlines Agency sales experience is a must
