Responsibilities
- Cook up patient referrals, authorizations, and provider orders
- Manage clinician schedules and agency communications
- Process patient documentation and insurance verifications
- Be the go-between for patients, providers, referral sources, and internal teams
- Smooth out transitions of patients into home health services
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements
- Provide outstanding customer service and administrative support
- Two or more years of experience in a healthcare, medical office, or patient care setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and healthcare documentation systems
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work with a high level of accuracy
