AG-Route Driver - Class B

About the role

We are hiring a CDL B Driver in Savannah, GA. The position involves home daily driving, consistent routines, and support for growing families.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers.
• Load, unload, and return compressed gas cylinders daily.
• Frequent connections with Airgas customers.
• Safely secure and transport cylinders.
• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Support deliveries in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• Able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• One (1) year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

Qualifications

• Must maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Must be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.

Skills

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements.
• Experience with forklifts is preferred.

Pay

Pay range is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday-Friday predictable schedule featuring a 6-7am start time with weekend support as needed.
