About the role

The Ag Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluating and managing credit risk for agricultural clients. This includes analyzing financial statements, conducting market research, and developing lending strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and market trends to assess creditworthiness
• Develop and implement lending strategies for agricultural clients
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential loan applicants
• Prepare and present credit reports and recommendations to management
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in agricultural lending

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in agricultural lending or financial analysis
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Knowledge of USDA guidelines and regulations
• Experience with agricultural insurance products
• Understanding of crop insurance policies and their impact on lending decisions

Skills

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay
