Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of combine harvesters / other agricultural equipment to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and adjustments on combine or agricultural machinery.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, employing advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Performs diagnostics in the field as required
- Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on-time submittal of information.
- Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
- Collaborate with farmers and operators to understand their concerns and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in combine machinery and agricultural equipment to enhance service delivery.
- Operate and maintain vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities as well as maintaining a clean work area while performing work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Add additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in agriculture mechanics or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience working with combine harvesters or agricultural equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with a focus on diagnostics.
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate.
Qualifications
- Experience with precision agriculture technology and modern combine systems.
- Familiarity with electronic diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical repair techniques for agricultural machinery.
- Experience with hydraulic systems and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in agricultural maintenance.

Pay
Salary: $30 – $38 per hr.
$5000 sign on bonus
