Afterschool Supervisor for STEM Program

Responsibilities

  • Build up teachers to help them lead and inspire kids
  • Manage schedules or events
  • Manage adults, preferably in an education setting
  • Transfer up to 30 lbs of equipment
  • Evaluate teachers
  • Give feedback to teachers

Requirements

  • Comfortable traveling throughout the Fullerton School District, including multiple school sites in a day/week
  • Experience managing adults, preferably in an education setting
  • Experience managing schedules or planning events
  • K-12 school experience ideal
  • Comfortable with a range of technology
  • Reliable transportation to multiple sites within your region throughout the day
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of effective instructional practices
  • Able to commit to the whole school year

Qualifications

  • Background as a school supervisor, school administrator, teacher leader, or similar
  • Classroom experience and knowledge of effective instructional practices are a plus
  • A strong tech background is a plus, but not required

Pay

$25-30/hour

Schedule

This is a seasonal position for about 15-25 hours per week and you are expected to work the entire school year, following the prevailing local school district schedule.
