Afterschool Instructor - Robert Crown Center
Description
After School Instructor are responsible for leading and implementing games, sports, arts & crafts, recreational activities and academic support for participants in a group setting. As an After School Instructor, you will be expected to communicate directly with the Coordinator, Lead Instructor and any other Instructors with suggestions, comments, concerns or ideas. The After School Instructor is responsible for the safety of participants during the program including field trips, and anything directly related to program activities. It is required for all After School Instructors to report any accidents/incidents to the Program Coordinator, immediately followed by completing the proper paperwork for documentation. Every After School Instructor is expected to be a role model to participants and exhibit constructive and inclusive participation for all participants. It is the duty of the After School Instructors to come to work daily with a positive attitude and ready to make After School Program a safe, enjoyable and fun atmosphere for all that attend.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16 years old
- Strong interest, maturity and judgment in working with children in an outdoor setting
- Knowledge and experience in program related activities preferred
- Possess the ability to work as a team member with other instructors and senior staff members
- Responsible, friendly, enthusiastic, patient and willing to learn
