Specific Responsibilities
- Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring punctuality and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe environment by monitoring students’ behavior during transit.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safe regulations, and organizational policies.
- Communicate effectively with program staff and students.
- Assist with loading and unloading as required, ensuring all students are accounted for.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Colorado drivers’ license.
- Minimum age requirement: 25 years old.
- Experience driving passenger vehicles, such as vans or minibuses, preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student safety.
Benefits & Compensation
This is a salaried/hourly, part-time October-April position. Salary range OR Hourly Rate is $20-30 based on experience.
