Specific Responsibilities

  • Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring punctuality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe environment by monitoring students’ behavior during transit.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safe regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Communicate effectively with program staff and students.
  • Assist with loading and unloading as required, ensuring all students are accounted for.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Colorado drivers’ license.
  • Minimum age requirement: 25 years old.
  • Experience driving passenger vehicles, such as vans or minibuses, preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to student safety.

Benefits & Compensation

This is a salaried/hourly, part-time October-April position. Salary range OR Hourly Rate is $20-30 based on experience.
