  • Facilitate sign-up procedures to ensure accurate attendance tracking.
  • Create unique clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
  • Organize and lead activities such as homework help, recreational games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
  • Work with administrative staff at the school, develop lesson plans, track attendance, and ensure grant compliance.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
  • Strong communication skills to interact comfortably with both kids and parents.
  • College transcripts showing 48+ completed college credit units OR passing an academic proficiency exam.
  • Negative TB test (proof required) and passing a Live Scan background check.
  • Reliable commute to the work location (required).
  • If the school requires COVID-19 vaccination, documentation of full vaccination is mandatory.

English-Spanish bilingual speakers are highly encouraged to apply.

  • Morning Shift (Optional): 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (one day per week is a minimum day, approximately 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, depending on the school).
