About the Role
At Engineering For Kids, we inspire kids to explore engineering concepts through fun, hands-on activities. We are seeking an Assistant S.T.E.M./Engineering Teacher who can support our classes and inspire the next generation of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Collect and return materials from and to storage areas
- Support the Lead Teacher in preparing supplies
- Encourage student participation and assist individually
- Practice excellence in teaching
- Ensure smooth class operations by observing and recording data, managing supplies, and assisting in demonstrations
- Provide appropriate instruction considering each student's unique abilities
- Strive to improve instruction through reflection and evaluation
- Seek additional training and further education
Primary Duties
- Support Engineering For Kids classes professionally
- Be courteous and approachable to students, parents, and staff
- Follow franchise location policies including safety procedures and dress code
- Position is located at different schools in Bakersfield
Compensation
$54.00 per day
