After School Program Lead -- Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all information regarding student, parent, and staff related issues are kept confidential.
• Supervise and monitor the safety of children and others in the program.
• Report any suspect abuse to supervisor.
• Monitor after school activities, to include gym play, homework, etc.
• Recommend measures to improve methods, performance and quality of product or service, and suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• An associates degree in Early Childhood or equivalent preferred.
• Completing any required pre-employment background screens, trainings and paperwork.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Effective communication skills (oral, written and verbal).
• Attendance at all in-service, staff meetings, and Field trips.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.
• Certified, or willing to be certified in First Aid, CPR/AED, Epi-Pen and Blood borne Pathogens.
