Afternoon Babysitter for School-Aged Children

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our two children, ages 5 and 7, in Boston, MA.

About the role

The position involves school pickup and coordinating after-school activities for the children. You will primarily manage one child's schedule while we manage the other.

Schedule

• Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 3:00 PM to 6:00/7:00 PM
• Possible early start on Thursday, August 27, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Starting in September (or sooner if available)

Responsibilities

• Drive the children to and from school and activities
• Provide snacks
• Ensure the children’s safety during transit and activities
• Walk to schools and activities when feasible

Requirements

• Reliable and caring demeanor
• Ability to manage a child’s schedule independently
• Access to a car is preferable, especially in bad weather
• Experience and references required

Pay

$30 per hour, contingent on experience and references.
