Afternoon Babysitter for School-Aged Children

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and energetic afternoon babysitter for two school-aged girls, ages 10 and 8, in the New York, NY, area. The position will start and end on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Picking up the children from school
• Assisting with homework
• Driving the children to sports and activities using either your car or ours
• Preparing simple snacks
• Engaging with the children to ensure they are active and entertained until their parents return home

Requirements

• Responsible and dependable
• Experienced in working with children in various settings such as babysitting, being a camp counselor, tutoring, or teaching
• A valid driver’s license

Pay

Pay ranges from $26 to $30 per hour.
