Afternoon Babysitter for School-Age Children

About the role

We are a warm Santa Monica family looking for a responsible undergraduate or grad student to help care for our three kids (ages 10, 7, and 5). We also have three gentle, friendly rescue dogs! This role is excellent for students, offering a tight core schedule of 6 hours per week, academic flexibility, and additional hours for those interested.

Responsibilities

• Team up with a parent for school pickup at 3:15 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
• Drive kids to local Santa Monica activities (mileage fully reimbursed; safe car/clean record required)
• Assist with elementary homework
• Help with snacks or light dinner prep

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
• Valid driver's license with a safe car and clean driving record

Pay

• $30/hr plus mileage reimbursement
• Opportunities for paid major holidays

Schedule

• Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting at 3:15 PM
• Core schedule: 6 hours per week
• Additional hours available for those interested
• Start Date: Monday, September 7th
