Afternoon Babysitter for School Age Child

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our 7-year-old child in Washington, DC.

Schedule

• 3 days a week, typically 3–8 PM (12–16 hours per week)
• Days may vary based on after-school activities and work schedules
• Occasional weekend needs

Responsibilities

• Drive the child to various after-school activities
• Prepare simple family dinners
• Assist with 8-year-old’s homework
• Perform light tidying: laundry, cleaning the kitchen, running the dishwasher, and taking out the trash when necessary

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Willingness to submit to a background check
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one)
• References

Pay

$18–28 per hour, depending on experience
