Afternoon Babysitter for Preschool and Elementary Age

About the role

We are seeking a warm, reliable babysitter for our two children—a preschooler and a 1st grader—in Richmond, VA. The position is for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM and includes potential for additional afternoon or weekend evening opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Meet the bus
• Provide snacks and serve dinner
• Engage in playtime with the children
• Tidy up the kids' areas

We have a small hypoallergenic senior dog, but she primarily sleeps and stays out of the way.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in this age group
• Effective communication about any changes in plans
• Reliable transportation

CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
