Afternoon Assistant Teachers

About the role

The Goddard School® is seeking part-time Floating Teachers for its state-of-the-art educational facility located at 10 Torre Street, Reading, MA. Positions are available year-round, with variable schedules such as 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., daily, with additional hours available to meet the center’s needs.

Responsibilities

- Engage in the nurturing and learning of children. - Support the development of each child's natural curiosity and creativity. - Work collaboratively in a co-teaching environment. - Demonstrate strong communication skills. - Show dependability and teamwork.

Requirements

- A passion for teaching. - A nurturing and loving approach. - Strong communication skills. - Dependability. - Ability to work effectively in a team setting. - Knowledge of child development.

Qualifications

- Experience in a teaching/co-teaching environment preferred. - Previous experience working with children recommended.
