About the role
The Montclair Community Pre-K is seeking an Extended Care Teacher to work from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. The position is part-time, offering 20 hours per week at a rate of $18-20 per hour, contingent on experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementing daily activities
- Reading books to the group
- Supervising outdoor time
- Preparing and cleaning up from snack
- Communicating with families at pick-up
Requirements
- Experience as a camp counselor, aftercare teacher, daycare teacher, or babysitter
- A high school diploma
