Afternoon Assistant Teacher-Maple Grove

About the role

This position is within the Assistant Teacher role at Tutor Time Learning Centers. Maple Grove, MN is seeking energetic, dependable individuals with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Requirements

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children preferred but not required.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.

Skills

• Ability to follow directions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$19.19 - $19.94 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered.

Schedule

Monday-Friday work week.
