Job Summary

The Aftermarket Sales Specialist drives organic growth by selling parts & services to end-users and supporting aftermarket sales initiatives. Key responsibilities include building strong customer relationships, providing on-site technical support, analyzing sales trends, collaborating with internal teams, and presenting proposals to improve business processes.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow aftermarket parts business.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.

  • Provide on-site technical support and product knowledge to customers, ensuring optimal solutions for their needs.

  • Build relationships with existing and new customers by personal site visits.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales and marketing) to deliver seamless customer experiences.

  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.

  • Present proposals to improve business processes and market opportunities for senior leaders.

  • Maintain a high level of customer service.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

Education And Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in aftermarket parts business within industry.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical components and industrial equipment.

  • 5+ years’ experience in similar role and deep understanding of aftermarket parts business.

  • Strong sales passion and selling skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Open mindset to create and implement new aftermarket initiatives.

  • "Getting things done" attitude.

  • Proficiency in critical technologies (MS-Office, SAP, CRM tools, etc.).

Travel

Estimated 75% - Travel will be nationwide and international at times.
