Aftermarket Project Manager

Job Summary

As a world leader in mixing solutions, our products offer a wide range of capabilities across various industrial markets. As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Aftermarket Mixer Project delivery, ensuring they align with contractual agreements. Your role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams globally, covering markets such as Water/Wastewater, Industrial, Chemical Processing, Mining/Minerals, and Life Sciences.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Support external sales representatives, customers, commercial leaders, and global affiliates throughout the order execution process.
• Manage and coordinate with a cross-functional team to ensure customers receive timely updates on critical projects, including turnarounds, shut-downs, and mixer upgrades.
• Collaborate with different project stakeholders (internal and external), local engineering, and global organizations to fulfill project requirements.
• Execute multiple diverse Mixer projects according to requirements, contracts, and timelines, ensuring effective planning and management of resources to meet project deliverables.
• Control qualitative and quantitative risks to minimize adverse impacts on project costs, products, and services.
• Oversee finance and contract execution across different project fields to maintain SPXFLOW margin expectations.
• Help determine the most efficient delivery of required mixer components to ensure on-time delivery during customer breakdown situations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Quality team to develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) as necessary.
• Work with Order Engineering to ensure drawings, parts lists, and routings/MOMs are completed for timely Aftermarket orders.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering Leader to ensure order reconciliation and scope clarity at the time of order entry and execution.
• Build relationships with key contacts from Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Manufacturing teams.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks in an ever-changing environment.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, using Microsoft Office applications.

Education And Experience

• Extensive project and/or implementation management experience.
• Several years of experience in rotating equipment project management, particularly in the Mixer/Agitator field.
• Bachelor’s Degree (ideally in Engineering or Business Field).
• Preferred ERP System Knowledge (SAP/Epicor/others).

Physical Demands

• Sit and use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Working Conditions

• Office environment with occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise levels.
• Exposure to noise levels in the office work environment is usually moderate.
