Aftermarket Expediter Associate
About the role
The Aftermarket Expediter Associate plays a crucial part in ensuring the timely flow of parts and materials between vendors and GAC customers. They are responsible for holding buyers accountable for purchase order lead-times and directly impacting OTC sales revenues.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely shipment of parts/materials to and from vendors to GAC customers
- Directly involved in impacting OTC sales revenues
- Cook up world wide customer support
- Identify corrective actions and possible workarounds when typical GAC and GDAS cannot provide parts in support of schedule requirements; initiate corrective actions and monitor progress
- Coordinate all parts issues to ensure proper documentation is provided by either vendors and/or GAC ODARS
- Maintain Corridor Sales Orders to assure proper processing within all GAC departments
- Equally contribute towards achieving both monetary and organizational goals
- Travel domestically and/or internationally as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Eighteen (18) months of planning and expediting experience
- Must be computer literate and use necessary software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Corridor experience preferred)
- Must have demonstrated leadership ability
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Must be able to use a computer and systems well
- Ability to communicate verbally and via email with multiple internal departments and stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task and work priorities
- Understanding of FAA Quality and Certification Requirements for Parts

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $26.53 - $36.23 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.
Schedule
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
