Aftermarket Estimator

Job Summary

We are seeking an Aftermarket Estimator to join our team. This position involves analyzing construction drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare estimates for assigned products, projects, or services. The successful candidate will also research existing job history, send out preliminary quotation requests, and maintain technical knowledge of WesTech products.

Responsibilities

• Research existing job history to ensure the quote scope is accurate, complete, and in line with current standards.
• Send out preliminary quotation requests to vendors and request catalog information.
• Review project estimates and prepare quotes.
• Become familiar with details of the purchase order or contract.
• Work with the purchasing group in deciding key buying issues.
• Understand and comply with ISO procedures.
• Maintain technical knowledge of WesTech products by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.

Requirements

• Ability to multi-task including handling multiple job assignments simultaneously.
• Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate percentage increases and decreases.
• Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft and Excel and Word.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work at a desk computer/phone system.
• Some lifting may be involved (40 lbs).
